July 17, 2001 Our melee loot whore, er the God of Fear, er Cazic Thule popped today so we rallied all of our casters together(including 7 wizards) with dreams of eyes, brains and robes. We were let down once again with a choker going to Mofu and Cloaks going to Flaor and Broco. Notice how even in death CT tries to get some ogre lovin' from Gresgoth. 
Next on the Menu was Derakor the Rumpshaker. He dropped with such ease and grace, I can't believe we ever had trouble with him. Grats Iiluvyen(app) on Head for the Gloves of Earthcrafting, and Kindeano on Earring. 
To complete our hat trick, we took out Derakor's daddy the Statue of Rallos Zek. For a mob that hits for 1050, you would think that it could cause some trouble, but not tonight for DoA. Grats Fealan on Breastplate of Eradication, Gresgoth on the Iron Scroll of War and Njirdl on the Cloak of Falling Stars. 
3 Mobs down, all on the first try, all owned. Hell of a day, more to come soon.

July 15, 2001 Slow weekend and nothing else was up so we visited our good friend Velketor the Sorceror. Using a technique we learned from lemmings, we all ran and beated on him with pointed sticks until he was dead. Grats Sinspell on Book, and Tyranid on Ring and Bracer. 
July 13, 2001 Well today we did something again for the first time in about 2 months. Cut Trakky Head off! First Time KO! NO FAIL! DW BP to Guild Bank and CoP to Stiff. The real reason we were there was Veeshan's Peak Keys for Teaa, Artaxerxius, Snivelton, and Kytke. Pic will be up later, but I am sure you have all seen a dead Trakanon pic before and ours died with his head in a wall, so not even an exciting pic.

July 11, 2001 Back to ToV North to pay a visit to our favorite loan shark, Ikatiar the Venom. Well, he really has become a noober mob now. We killed him with two non mezzable adds so needless to say he is weaksauce now. We must be killing him too often because we are starting to get crappy drops. 2 Poison Soaked BP's went to Gilthana and Credulity. Ole Ikatiar doesn't even warrant a corpse shot any more so lets move on. 
Next up was our favorite deep thinker Eashan of Sky. 
While he had been troublesome in the past, this time he dropped faster than Landela does when she sees Tugor coming. We downed him for the first time on Fennin Ro with only 2 casualties during the 7 minute fight. Welcome to being our bitch Eashan, I hope you enjoy it.

July 10, 2001 Patch Day. Dain wasn't up for some reason, so we headed to fear to beat down our bitch CT. Draco and Golem loot was asstastic with the only good items being a Grotesque Girdle for Teaa. Tugor also became even more weaksauce than he already was by looting a Berserker's Ring.
Cazic dropped with only 72 DoA members and 92 invites, using a strategic technique called operation Zerg Rush. We figured that we could beat him using only one tank with a rusty dagger and one ranger for heals if we kept clicking the ranger and the tank when they died. So CT was really killed by 2 people, but the other 182 people were there cheering "All other guilds suck" for the positive karma factor. He dropped a Halo for Klednir and two cloaks of the fearsome which went to Galanin and Adorable.
Since someone was bitching about our stock photo, I took another one of our 182 person cheering section with corpse so STFU now, thx.

July 7-8, 2001 VP CLEARED(more or less hehe) Well all day on the 7th, our guildmotd said "Starting VP as soon as we get 4 warriors and 4 clerics online" and for some strange reason it took until 9 PM cst for that to happen. Lo and behold we start filing into VP and ANOTHER guild(cough* SR cough*) starts heading to VP as well. At one point there were 49 people in there and we were about to start shouting camp check when a GM showed up. He gave us 4 options to figure out the dilemma. 1) Have the guild leaders decide amoung themselves 2)Work together to clear 3)random 1 100 for VP 4) have a single member from our guild fight a single member from their guild. Clearly option 4 was the only choice. We sent one of our best duelers, Tyranid the Nerfo, and they sent their flagship leader Faelagund. We are not the type of guild that flaunts victory on their main page, so please click this link for the pics LOL. Before After Since SW was down still from SR's VP raid last week, we went straight to our favorite gay gater, Hoshkar. After two gates on the night of the 7th, we took him out with 3 deaths on our first try on the 8th. Grats Peppip on Fatesealer, Aznon on Shissar Elementalist's Cane, and Akepella on Veldrak's Shortblade. We also got a green scale that went into guildbank for the next warrior who needs for epic. 
Xygoz was next to meet the swift hand of DoA death, dropping 2 Spears of Constriction for Daleena and Gusse, a Malevolent Runeblade for Mofu, and a Smouldering Cudgel for Shebearh. 
Druushk died next with kinda crappy loot. Grats Morgenn on Kantana of Endurance, Lotos on Verdix's Shortsword, and Peppip on Shissar Focus Staff. 
OK we were real scared with the "New" Nexona and the ST AoE they put on her, but she dropped as quickly as Hypnos does when he sees Gozzrem, and the loots were commensurate with the effort required. Grats Sinspell on the DMF Robe, Sharine on Sprinkler of Suffering, and Morgenn the VP loot whore and Remmo on Black Stone Mauls. 
Last to fall was the ruler of Veeshan's Peak, Phara Dar. After 3 attempts she finally fell for us for the fourth time, leaving behind TWO Shrouds of Veeshan and a Claw of Phara Dar. Grats Ethandrin and Matrixcyan on the shrouds and Mofu on the Claw.

July 6, 2001 VI brought ToV down some time for a patch so our favorite overgrown Cobalt Wyvern, Ikatiar the Venom, was back up. This time he just handed his loots over to us without much trouble. Gozzrem on the other has become the new Hoshkar for us, killing us all with 1-3% of his life left each time. This bitch will die soon though and will be killed repeatedly in retribution for the pain in CR he has caused us. 
Some very nice loots for a mob that is weaksauce for us now, which included a Cloak of Venom for Tyranid, Mask of Venom for Tyrannid, and Ancient Wyvern Hide Sleeves for Remmo. 
July 1, 2001 Spent the day making our way deeper into the North Wing of ToV. First thing we ran into was Ikatiar the Venom who owed Balrok some money from a drug deal gone bad. To prove a point that you don't screw around with Balrok we pistol whipped him down. Before... 
After...
Hypnos powerlooted some Ancient Wyvern Hide Leggings and Evilmagus was fast like cheetah to get Ikatiar's Stinger. The word is out now, mess with DoA and you will get beat down. Eashan of the Sky is next.

-- Kyrak June 30, 2001 Spent most of the day hunting in WW for some 6 to all stats talismans since Zland and Kland were supposed to pop today. Turns out they both popped at once and we took out Klandicar without any trouble, but another guild (*cough TMO *cough) beat us to Zlandicar. A lot of people don't like the fighting over spawns BS, but I enjoy a good race. It keeps you on your toes and makes you a more efficient guild imo. Grats Ahcell on your Sleeper's Tomb Key. 
Then went into ToV for some more hunting with decent drops including Tyranid getting a silk robe to finish his Plague Bearer's Robe. Will come in handy I am sure. Also Myga finally popped so we gated a crack team outa ToV to take her out. Grats Logoth on the first Dragonsbane spell in DoA. Watch out Yelinak, we are coming for you! 
June 29, 2001 After yet another "emergency patch", we realized that our favorite gimp was back up Cazic Thule. We promptly trekked over to the Plane of Fear and cleared it in short order. As we entered, we heard CT shout "Beware all ye who taint my plane, for I will, oh shit, it is you guys. Please don't kill me again, my ass still hurts from last time." We explained to CT that if he would just hand over his loots and those from Draco and the Golems, then we would leave and raid crushbone and the prick Dvinn. He gave us some of the loots, but we knew he was holding out on us so Otismikfly suggested we bitchslap him with Operation Prosauce. He was promptly owned like the overgrown muddite he is.
Casters were overlooked again with no Brain, Eye, or Robe dropping, only phat melee loots. Cloak of the Fearsome to Dulcinea, Pauldrons of Ferocity to Ariakis and Bigbearh and Choker to Kalten. Drops from the Golems and Draco were kinda crappy. I ninjalooted a Zombie Flesh Bracer and Opis picked up an Amulet of Necropotence. Dawnfire and Bloodfire went to whoever wanted.

June 28, 2001 Since the patch repopped all of the North Wing of ToV, today we decided to continue our trek with the new upgraded drops there. We were not disappointed as we were able to beat down Ikatiar the Venom like a red-headed stepchild. We used an innovative strategy developed by one our elite strategists, Tugor, called Operation Iron Fist to drop him quickly. Drops from Ikatiar were nice with a Poison Soaked Breastplate going to Cleaner and Ikatiar's Stinger going to Gilthana, both invites. Who says you have to be in guild to get uber loots ~). We plan to continue into the North Wing this week as well as get some more ST keys. Peace Out

We did have a pull of Eashan of the Sky, but we were expecting his guardians, not him on the pull. Needless to say, Balrok went down fast and it was late so we decided to call it a night and come back after the emergency patch. 
Hehe I thought we were done, but it turns out our late night crew got together with a few Zenith Sage guys and ganked the talisman right off Kladicar's neck 5 minutes before the servers went down. Grats Morgenn on your Sleeper's Tomb Key. Dragon BP and Arms went to ZS. 
June 27, 2001 Patch Day
Since we missed getting the jump on the angry dwarf, we decided to visit our favorite "unslowable" mob, Cazic Thule. Well, thanks to inside info from Cazic himself, we have found a way to keep him slowed. However this info is so secret that we could tell you, but then we would have to kill you. We first tried the "Zerg Rush" tactic with 70 people and 13 clerics and found out first hand that people without skillz do not a raid make. After that we kicked out anyone who was not an invite or a member and he proceeded to bend over for us like Opis does when he needs pearls. It will just be a matter of time before we own him with 36 as we should be. Drops were uberific with Flaor picking up a choker, Sharine picking up the kick ass halo, and Fealan picking up the pauldrons.

At this point it was kinda late so we called it a night and went and owned the new "improved"(read nerfed) SG. This zone used to be tough, but now is kinda weaksauce so soon it will be as camped as OS. Got some gem drops there to complete some of our armor from ToV.
